Mathura : A seven-month old boy was kidnapped from Mathura Railway station on August 24 night. The kid has been found 100 kms away at the house of a lady councillor of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Firozabad. The police have arrested eight people in the matter, including the BJP leader.

According to media reports, the Municipal Corporation Councilor, identified as Vinita Agarwal and her husband Krishna Murari Agarwal have been arrested by the police on charges of buying the infant for Rs 1.8 lakhs from a doctor.

The whole incident was captured on a CCTV installed at the Mathura Railway station. In the video, a man can be seen picking up the baby sleeping next to his mother and then running away. The man seen in the video has also been arrested.

Several raids were made by the police officials before they get to know about a hospital where the racket of stolen kids was suspected. After investigation, the kid was found at the BJP leaders home.
