New Delhi : A dedicated website for coronavirus vaccine registration – CoWin – crashed multiple times on Wednesday as government started registration of people above 18 years of age for vaccination against COVID-19 infection. After several complaints of website not working properly, it has been informed that a minor glitch has been fixed.

Registration for people above 18 years of age started at 4:00 pm on Wednesday. The Centre has announced that all age group above 18 will be allowed vaccination from May 1.

The ones who wanted to register were supposed to visit https://www.cowin.gov.in/home and click on the "register/sign-in" option. However, many people notified that they are landing on an error page via this.

However, Aarogya Setu tweeted saying, "Cowin Portal is working. There was a minor glitch at 4 PM that was fixed. 18 plus can register."

The vaccination will begin from May 1.
