Demonetisation: National Highways to remain toll free till November 18

New Delhi : Amid chaos of getting money exchanged the toll suspension across all the national highways have been extended till midnight of November 18.

Earlier, the government had extended the exemption of toll fee across national highways till November 14. The decision was taken to avoid traffic jams due to inadequate change.

The government claimed that the decision will ease difficulties of commuters on the national highways.

Prime Minister on November 8 announced that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 old currency notes cannot be used as legal tender.
