Dipak Misra succeeds Khehar as Chief Justice of India

New Delhi : Justice Dipak Misra has become the 45th Chief Justice of India (CJI) as he succeeded Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar who demitted office earlier on Monday.

He took oath in the presence of President of India Ram Nath Kovind. 

The new Chief Justice of India will give his services to the nation for 13 months and six days.
