Haryana, Maharashtra vote on Oct 15; fate to be decided on Oct 19
- Election Commission on Friday announced voting dates for both Haryana and Maharashtra
- The election in both the states will be held on October 15
- The counting of votes will be done on October 19
- 16244 polling stations in Haryana, 90403 in Maharashtra: VS Sampath
- Haryana has 90 assembly constituencies and Maharashtra has 288 : VS Sampath, Chief Election Commissioner
- As per Supreme Court orders NOTA option will be available on EVM machines
- Model Code of Conduct comes into effect immediately: VS Sampath
