New Delhi : In view of heavy rainfall and downpour, the schools in Noida from classes 1 to 8 will remain closed, the district administration announced on Twitter.

Delhi and NCR have been receiving continuous rain since Thursday morning. The meteorological department has announced more rains on Friday. 

The IMD has also issued an ‘orange alert’ for Delhi-NCR, cautioning people about sporadic heavy rain which could reduce visibility, disrupt traffic and damage kutcha roads and vulnerable structures.

Meanwhile, the Gurugram administration has issued an advisory asking the corporates and private companies to guide people to do work from home amid waterlogging situation and heavy rains.
