Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa

Chennai : Good news for all the 'Amma' followers is coming from the hospital where she spoke for the first time in last two months with the help of speakers.

In her latest health update, Apollo hospital doctors also revealed that she is now breathing 90 per cent of air without any machine support.

"She is perfectly well, now it is up to her to decide when she wants to go home," said Dr Reddy while giving her health update.

The doctor also talked about next step of her treatment. They will now focus on making her walk as soon as possible.

Ms Jayalalithaa was admitted in hospital two months back after she was diagnosed by lung infection. She was treated by several teams of doctors including a specialist from the UK in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit or ICU for weeks before being shifted last weekend to a special room which her party the AIADMK said "has larger space to even meet people."

Last week, from hospital bed Jayalalithaa had claimed that this treatment is nothing less than her rebirth.
