Manohar Parrikar leaves for US for further medical tests

New Delhi : Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has left for the United States where he will be going under further medical examination. He is being accompanied by a doctor and an elder son. 

Manohar Parrikar was hospitalised in Lilavati Hospital on March 5, 11 days after being discharged following treatment for a pancreatic ailment.

He was first admitted on February 15; he was discharged on February 22 afterwhich he had gone to deliver the state budget.

On February 25, Parrikar was admitted the Goa Medical College and Hospital after he suffered mild dehydration. He was discharged from the hospital on March 1.

Parrikar was working from home till March 5 and now he will get treated in the United States.
