Nikki Yadav Murder Case: CCTV footage emerges, shows the victim girl before murder

New Delhi : A 23-year-old young girl Nikki Yadav was brutally murdered by her boyfriend Sahil Gehlot using a charging cable of a mobile phone. Her body was then dumped in a refrigerator at a dhaba owned by Sahil. The incident came to light on February 14th, the Valentine’s Day. However, the murder was done on February 9th. Now, a CCTV footage has emerged showing the moments before the incident happened. The girl can be seen climbing up stairs alone in the CCTV footage. 

24-year-old Sahil was arrested by the police after the body of the girl was recovered from the dhaba's fridge. The CCTV footage has been retrieved from a house near the incident site.

According to police, Sahil Gehlot had been hiding his marriage information from his girlfriend Nikki Yadav; when she came to know about it, there was an heated argument between the couple that led to the murder of Nikki Yadav.

According to a report, it has been claimed that Nikki Yadav was threatening Sahil Gehlot of implicating him in a case if he marries the other girl.

The couple had been living in a relationship for past few years and on February 9th night Sahil told her about the marriage. After which, they had a heated argument and in that the girl was strangled to death with a mobile charger cable.

No missing complaint had been registered against the girl till the time of the filing of this report.
