Senior Journalist Rakesh Kumar lauds Operation Sindoor as bold message against Terrorism, praises Army and political leadership
New Delhi : Senior journalist Rakesh Kumar has praised the Indian Army’s swift and precise response to the Pahalgam terror attack through Operation Sindoor, calling it a strong yet restrained action that upholds the nation’s security and values. The operation targeted nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), following the brutal killing of 26 civilians by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in Pahalgam.
Kumar commended Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for standing firmly behind the armed forces and enabling such a decisive yet measured response.
Rakesh Kumar said that the operation exemplifies India’s growing capability to respond to acts of terror with focus and justice. “This mission sends a clear message that India will not tolerate violence against its people, and its response will be calculated, just, and effective”.
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh said the operation was inspired by the approach of Hanumanji in Ashok Vatika, where only the infrastructure used to harm innocents was destroyed. Operation Sindoor, he added, followed this principle by targeting only those responsible for the attack and avoiding unnecessary damage. The Defence Minister also highlighted how Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has empowered the armed forces with the strength and freedom to respond with precision and purpose.
Operation Sindoor has been widely seen as a milestone in India’s counter-terrorism efforts, reflecting a balance of strategy, strength, and statesmanship. Kumar also urged the nation to remain united in support of the armed forces and the leadership that ensures their preparedness.
