Unlock 5 guidelines released: Cinemas allowed with 50% occupancy and social distancing measures

New Delhi : The latest guidelines have been released for the Unlock 5. Cinemas have been allowed to operate with 50 per cent occupancy rate and SOPs, including the social distancing.

Meanwhile, decision on opening of schools has been left with the states. Online classes will also be allowed parallelly, the Centre has said. 

The government has also said cinema halls, multiplexes, exhibition halls and entertainment parks will be allowed to re-open but with restriction on numbers. However, opening of movie theatres can also be barred by a state independently if it feels so.

Metro trains and other public transport were relaxed in Unlock 4.
