Gorakhpur hospital tragedy: BSP demands Yogi Adityanath's resignation

New Delhi : BSP on Saturday asked Yogi Adityanath to resign from his Chief Ministerial post on moral grounds after 63 children lost their lives in a Gorakhpur hospital.

"Matter of great shame for UP CM; if there’s any morality in government he should quit," said BSP leader Sudhindra Bhadoria.

The children at the Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital died over the past few days due to encephalitis after reported lack of oxygen supply in their wards.

Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh and Medical Education Minister Ashutosh Tandon will be reviewing the situation on Saturday and will file a detailed report over the incident.
