New Delhi : A special train arrived in New Delhi from Patna today with hundreds of passengers who were screened at the railway station soon after their arrival.

Speaking about the experience in the train, a passenger expressed his satisfaction with the cleanliness and sanitization of the train that was used to ferry passengers.

"I am very happy. The train was properly sanitized and we maintained social distance," a passenger told news agency ANI.



Indian Railways, under the guidelines issued by the Railway Ministry, has started operations to different parts of the nation in 14 all-AC special trains.

All the trains begin their journey from New Delhi and will go to different locations like Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.

The tickets for these trains can be booked only through IRCTC website and no other ticketing window will be allowed for it.
