Watch: Mumbai woman makes narrow escape from falling tree

Mumbai : Cyclone Tauktae has battered Mumbai with heavy rains, winds damaging properties and trees at several locations. In one of the videos captured on camera, a woman can be seen making a narrow escape from a freefalling tree.

The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. In the video, a woman walking with an umbrella notices falling tree and stretches her to safety in time as the tree comes down. Fortunately for her, the huge tree landed inches from her. Watch video below:

People on social media called woman lucky. Some praised her for her presence of mind and active action.

Cyclone Tauktae killed at least six people in Maharashtra and three in Gujarat. On Tuesday, the storm was downgraded from ‘extremely severe' to 'very severe', and is expected to weaken further.
