New Delhi : A Canadian astronaut conducted an experiment on International Space Station to show what happens when someone squeezes a wet towel in zero gravity environment.

Chris Hadfield, a retired Canadian astronaut, has shared a video on social media wringing a wet towel on board the International Space Station.

As he squeezes the towel with full force, the water in it appears to form a gel like layer and in the absence of gravity the water does not falls on the surface.

On Earth, water molecules get a direction to flow due to gravitational pull, which is not the case in the space. Check out the interesting video below:
