Militants involved in Sri Lanka cricket team attack in 2009 killed in Lahore raid

New Delhi : Three militants, who were allegedly involved in the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009, have been killed during a police raid in Lahore.

A report by The Express Tribune mentioned that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), local authorities had received information regarding terrorists hiding in a building in Lahore’s Manawan area. The three terrorists were gunned down after one and a half hour-long gun battle.

# According to police, the deceased have been identified as Zubair alias Naik Muhammad, Abdul Wahab, Adnan Arshad and Attiqur Rehman.
