Vivo U20 launched in India: Price and specifications

New Delhi : Within two months of launching V10, Vivo has launched the Vivo U20. The latest smartphone from the company sports a triple camera setup with the primary lens of 16MP. It also comes with a 16 MP front shooter for high-quality selfies.

The new Vivo U20 has been powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. The phone also has been fitted with a strong 5000 mAH battery that can be charged at super speed with 18W fast charger.

Vivo U20 price in India

For the base variant that is 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the buyers will have to pay Rs. 10,990 while the second version of the phone with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, they will have to shell out Rs. 11,990 in India. It has been notified that the Vivo U20 will be available for sale in India from November 28.

The phone will be sold on the online platforms – amazon.in and the official Vivo e-shop.

Launch offers on the Vivo U20 include Rs. 1,000 off on prepaid purchase and no-cost EMI for up to 6 months.

The latest smartphone will be available in two colours - Racing Black and Blaze Blue. 

Vivo U20 Specifications

The dual-SIM Vivo U20 runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9 custom skin on top. The phone features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) display with 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and peak brightness of 480 nits.

Vivo claims it has obtained the Widevine L1 certification for the phone, which means users can enjoy high-resolution content from streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

The phone looks promising considering its price tag and offered feature. But, will it be able to fetch a huge number of customers? The answer will be revealed on Nov 28, when the phone will go on sale.
