Vivo X50, X50 Pro with gimbal cameras launched in India

New Delhi : Vivo on Thursday launched two new smartphone VivoX50 and X50 Pro with its prime highlight gimbal cameras. The handset has a total of four sensors, of which there’s a 60x periscope lens as well. 

The Vivo X50 costs Rs 34,990 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 37,990 for the 8GB+256GB model. The Vivo X50 Pro is priced at ₹49,990.

The new smartphones can be pre-booked from today till July 23. The sale for the same will start from July 24. As a part of the smartphone pre-book offer, you can get ₹2,000 off on the TWS Neo earbuds.

Specifications:

The X50 and x50 Pro feature a 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 60Hz/90Hz refresh rate and HDR support. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 inbuilt storage.

The Vivo X50 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel Gimbal camera that is claimed to provide ultra-smooth videos and photos. The tech under it, as Vivo claims, moves the lens along with the sensor as well – something that results in no loss in frames and keep the scene stable.

The other lenses fitted are 12-megapixel portrait lens (50mm focus), 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle macro camera as well with 120-degree field of view. At the front, you get a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

To keep the phone running, Android 10-based smartphone X50 Pro is backed by a 4315mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging tech. While the X50 has 4200 mAH battery with same charging technology.
