Apple resurrects the full-size HomePod for just Rs. 24322, check details

Delhi : Following the discontinuation of the first version of its smart speaker, Apple Inc. is bringing back the full-size HomePod.

Beginning on Wednesday, the HomePod will be available for Rs. 24322. online starting on February 3.

The HomePod has been updated with room-sensing technology, which can detect sound reflections from neighbouring surfaces. The speaker may then adjust the sound to meet its surroundings by using that information to detect whether it is near a wall or in an open space.

New sensors added to the HomePod enable it to listen for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and send notifications to an iPhone. When a particular temperature is reached in a room, it has temperature sensing capabilities and can close blinds.

A new technology standard called Matter is also supported by the updated HomePod. It enables the compatibility of smart home appliances like energy-saving thermostats and app-controlled lighting with products manufactured by Apple, Amazon.com Inc., and other organisations that have endorsed the standard.
