Delhi : Wearable technology has advanced dramatically over the past few years, with products ranging from Garmin's solar-powered smartwatch to Dyson's air-purifying headphones. Another approach to wearable technology is Huawei's Watch Buds, a smartwatch with integrated TWS headphones.

The Huawei Watch Buds may be useful if you frequently forget to bring your wireless earbuds. The watch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen that can be flipped up to expose a set of wireless headphones. It has a similar appearance to other smartwatches and comes with a leather band.

The watch has IPX7 water resistance, while the earbuds have an IPX4 rating, and includes all common fitness monitoring features including a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and blood oxygen level measurement. Using the Huawei Health Connect app, Watch Buds from Huawei can be connected to an Android or iOS device.

The wireless earbuds, according to Huawei, can automatically determine which earbud is in which ear (left or right) and alter the volume channel as necessary. Additionally, they have Triple Adaptive EQ, which uses bone conduction sensors and built-in microphones to optimise audio quality.

The wireless earbuds have a width of 10mm, a length of 21mm, and a weight of only 4 grammes. Additionally to supporting gestures, it enables wear detection, wind noise reduction, and AI noise cancellation. Although it may seem amazing, Huawei had to make a small sacrifice in terms of battery life. According to the manufacturer, the watch may last up to three days before it has to be recharged, while the earphones have a three-hour battery life when noise cancellation is enabled.

The Huawei Watch Buds will go on sale in the UK on March 1 for 449 British pounds (about Rs 44,702), however it is presently unknown whether the gadget will be sold in India.
