New Delhi : YouTube is preparing to launch its short-form video app Shorts on its smart TV platform called YouTube TV. According to a report, the company has asked the developers to check the compliance with YouTube Android TV and Google TV app.

YouTube shorts is growing exponentially and as of now receives around 30 billion daily views. Meanwhile, the company is also working on allowing users to watch 4 live streams simultaneously.

Google-owned YouTube is not the first service to bring short-form vertical videos to the TV screen. Short-form video hosting service TikTok has been experimenting with smart TV interfaces for some time.

Well, this will further increase the reach of YouTube shorts among the people.
