New Delhi : Russia has been continuing its attack on Kyiv with its long-range missiles. To ensure maximum safety of residents of the Ukrainian capital, the local authorities have announced a 35-hour long curfew.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already warned that he will need more help from Western nations to keep Russia away from taking over Kyiv.

Amid curfew, residents have been asked to stay inside their homes or shelters unless they have a special permit for working in vital services.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted a video on Telegram to announce the curfew.

Meanwhile, Russian ground forces have not officially entered Kyiv and they have been staying around 9-12 miles outside the capital.
