New Delhi : The attacker involved in a recent shooting at Brooklyn subway has been identified and arrested after a massive manhunt launched by the New York Police Department.

The man was identified as Frank James, the suspect in the mass shooting at the subway train station. Around 10 people were injured and five of them are in critical condition.

According to reports, the 62-year-old man carried out the shooting with a semi-automatic handgun, which was recovered from the incident spot. Smoke bombs were also used inside the train.

In addition to that, a can of gasoline was also recovered at the site. The majority of people were injured in a panic rush to get out of the train full of smoke.

In a major relief, no casualty has been reported yet and everyone injured in the incident is in a stable position.

The Arrest

Frank James was arrested in Manhattan's East Village after a group of people identified him and shared his picture with the police officials. The authorities are expected to hold a press conference and give a clear picture of the motive.
