New Delhi : Indian Defence Ministry acknowledged the incident of a missile misfire that landed in Pakistan region and said it a matter of relief that no human life was lost in the incident.

On Friday, Pakistan had notified and summoned India over a missile that had landed in Mian Channu of Pakistan Punjab’s Khanewal district.

It was claimed that the missile was launched from Sirsa (Haryana) and was moving towards the Mahajan Field Firing range in Rajasthan but changed course before entering 124 km into their territory.

The country notified that the lost missile landed in civilian region, damaging a few structures. No human life loss was reported in the incident.
