A US journalist has been brutally beheaded by the so-called Islamic State extremists in Iraq
The journalist has been recognised as a American freelancer James Foley
He was missing for nearly two years and was believed to be kidnapped in Syria
ISIS uploaded the brutal beheading video on YouTube
The uploaded video was titled as 'A Message to America'
“I call on my friends, family and loved ones to rise up against my real killers – the US government – for what will happen to me is only a result of their complacent criminality,” Foley said in the video
