ISIS beheads US journalist to `avenge' airstrikes in Iraq

• A US journalist has been brutally beheaded by the so-called Islamic State extremists in Iraq
• The journalist has been recognised as a American freelancer James Foley
• He was missing for nearly two years and was believed to be kidnapped in Syria
• ISIS uploaded the brutal beheading video on YouTube 
• The uploaded video was titled as 'A Message to America'
• “I call on my friends, family and loved ones to rise up against my real killers – the US government – for what will happen to me is only a result of their complacent criminality,” Foley said in the video
