No visa required for Indian travelers to Brazil: President Jair Bolsonaro

New Delhi : Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Thursday announced that Indian traveling to South American nation will no longer required a Visa for their entry for travel or business purpose.

Bolsonaro, a far-right politician, came to power at the beginning of the year and has made it a policy to reduce visa requirements from a number of developed countries. But this is the first time he has made an official announcement in this regards for developing nations.

Earlier this year, the Brazilian government ended visa requirements for tourists and businesspeople from the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia. Those countries, however, have not in return dropped their visa requirements for Brazilian citizens.
