New Delhi : President of the United States, Joe Biden has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. As he is taking the precautions and has been kept under health observation, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi extended his wishes for a speedy recovery from COVID-19.

PM Modi tweeted: "My best wishes to @POTUS @JoeBiden for a quick recovery from COVID-19, and prayers for his good health"

Joe Biden is fully vaccinated and has also received the booster doses; he is receiving mild symptoms and will continue all his office work in isolation till he tests negative.

In a tweet Mr Biden said he was "doing great" and "keeping busy".
