UK PM Boris Johnson able to do short walks, out from ICU

London : UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now able to do short walks, part of his treatment from coronavirus, his office said on Friday.

Boris Johnson has been moved out from the Intensive Care Unit and is now recovering in the hospital ward.

"The prime minister has been able to do short walks, between periods of rest, as part of the care he is receiving," a Downing Street spokesman said.

"He has spoken to his doctors and thanks the whole clinical team for the incredible care he has received."

Boris Johnson had announced around three weeks back about him getting contracted with the deadly coronavirus.

Four days back he was shifted to the Intensive care unit at St Thomas Hospital in London after his condition deteriorated suddenly due to the virus.
