After India's boycott, SAARC Summit unlikely in Pakistan

New Delhi : With 4 nations - India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan - deciding to pull out, it has been learned that the 19th edition of SAARC Summit to be hosted by Pakistan in November is likely to be postponed with a new venue.

Sources in Nepal have confirmed about receiving message from the four nations about their inability to attend the summit due in Islamabad on November 9-10.

However, Nepal is yet to take an official call over calling off the summit, which is a month away. As per SAARC rule, even if one member does not attend the summit is automatically postponed or canceled.
