2023 Honda Activa125: India's OBD2 compliant launch
Delhi : Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched the new OBD2 compliant 2023 Activa125 scooter in India for Rs 78,920. (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Honda Activa125 will be available in four different models (Smart, Disc, Drum Alloy, and Drum) and five different colours. (Pearl Night Start Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White & Mid Night Blue Metallic). The top-spec H-Smart model costs Rs 88,093 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Disc and Drum Alloy variants cost Rs 86,093 and Rs 82,588.
The Honda Activa125 now has an OBD2 compliant 125cc PGM-FI engine with Enhanced Smart Power. (eSP). The Honda Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology functions as an engine performance booster and optimises energy output.It has an integrated Honda ACG Starter, Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), Tumble Flow, and Friction Reduction, which reduces weight and improves fuel economy. The Combi-Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer and 3-step adjustable rear suspension are also standard on the new Activa125.
The new Honda Activa125 is equipped with Honda's Fuel Efficient tubeless tyres, as well as a Side Stand with Engine Inhibitor, which stops the engine from starting while the side stand is engaged, allowing for a comfortable and worry-free ride.
The Honda Activa125 has a Digi-Analog Instrument Cluster that displays extra information such as Total Trip, Clock, ECO Indicator, and Service Due Indicator, as well as other fuel efficiency-related data.
It also receives the Honda Smart Key, which debuted in the new Activa125. The Honda Smart Key System includes features such as Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, and Smart Safe, making it a one-of-a-kind solution for scooter consumers in India.
It also has a Two Lid Fuel Opening System with 18-litre storage space, and the H-Smart model has a Lock Mod that allows for 5 in 1 functionality (lock handle, ignition OFF, fuel lid open, seat open, and ignition ON) without the need to use a physical key.
