Skoda Kushaq and Slavia: Check prices on new 1.5L model

Delhi : Skoda Auto India has introduced a new limited edition mid-spec model to the Kushaq lineup. The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition is priced at Rs. 12.39 lakh ex-showroom price in India. It sits between the Active and Ambition trim levels of this mid-size SUV and receives modest visual updates as well as some new amenities. 

What's new about the Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition?

The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition now has crystalline LED headlights with DRLs, which were previously only available in Ambition and above grades. It also receives front foglamps with a static cornering function, a rear wiper and defogger, new wheel covers, and Onyx badges. It has a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic temperature control, and twin front airbags, TPMS, and other safety features.

Engine and transmission: Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition

While the ordinary Kushaq models come with a variety of engines and gearbox options, the Onyx Edition only comes with one. It is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine with 114 horsepower and 178 Nm of peak torque. The engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Skoda Kushaq is one of the safest made-in-India vehicles, earning a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
