Delhi : Royal Enfield recorded its best cumulative sales ever in the financial year 2022–2023 (8,34,895 units compared to 6,02,268 units in the FY2022). It represented a 39 percent YoY gain. The bike manufacturer succeeded in selling 7,34,840 units in the domestic market during the fiscal year, a 42 percent increase over FY22. Additionally, the business hit the 1 lakh export milestone in FY23.

In March 2023, Royal Enfield sold a total of 72,235 motorcycles, including 59,884 for the local market and 12,351 for export. 6.73 percent YoY sales growth was recorded. Royal Enfield's CEO, B Govindarajan, said that the business had "achieved new heights in sales and market share." Beyond estimates, the RE Hunter 350 and Super Meteor 650 made a considerable contribution to overall sales.

ROYAL ENFIELD BIKES TO COME

Regarding FY2024, the bike manufacturer from Chennai is probably going to set new sales records because it has numerous new models in the 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc sectors planned. Royal Enfield will introduce the new-generation Bullet 350 and Shotgun 350 bobber in the 350cc motorcycle market.

A new platform will support the all-new RE Bullet 350, which will also include an enhanced design and a new engine. It will utilise the 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Meteor, which is capable of producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The tear-drop tank, flat handlebars, wire-spoke wheels, retro-styled headlamp with chrome finish, and single-sided exhaust canister will all remain on the bike. A redesigned single-piece seat with improved lumbar support could be available.

The Himalayan 450, 450 Scrambler, Shotgun 650, and 650cc Scrambler are more models RE has planned. It is anticipated that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will go on sale in 2023. A brand-new, liquid-cooled engine with 35 horsepower and 40 Nm will power the motorcycle. Both the front and rear monoshock suspensions are Showa USD. Along with the dual-channel switchable ABS, there will be front and rear disc brakes.
