Delhi : Today, Ultraviolette, an electric vehicle startup financed by TVS Motor Corporation, revealed that it has begun shipping its F77 high-performance electric motorcycle. The company's manufacturing plant in Bengaluru is where the deliveries were made.

The Ultraviolette F77 comes in three different variations: Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser, each containing the F77 standard and F77 Recon. The F77 Recon costs Rs. 4.55 lakh, whilst the F77 regular has a starting price of Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom).

A 7.1kWh battery is combined with a 27kW/85Nm permanent magnet AC motor for the F77 standard. It claims to have a top speed of 140 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 3.4 seconds.

A 10.3kWh battery powers the 29kW/95Nm permanent magnet AC motor in the F77 Recon. While it can sprint from 0 to 60 kilometres per hour in 3.1 seconds, its top speed is 147 kilometres per hour.

The Maximum range of the Recon variant is 307 kilometres, compared to 206 kilometres for the normal variant. Both models can travel up to 35 kilometres per hour on a regular charger. A fast charger that is an option can extend range by up to 75 km per hour.

"The F77 is the end result of our efforts to design an electric motorcycle that stands out in every way. Its unique, gorgeous design and thrilling performance are authentically Indian in every way "declared Ultraviolette's CEO and co-founder Narayan Subramaniam.

With ambitions to raise USD 120 million soon, Ultraviolette will now concentrate on growing its profile both domestically and internationally.
