Delhi : In the upcoming two to three months, Hero MotoCorp, an Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, plans to introduce five new models to update and extend its product selection. The new line will include both all-new designs and enhanced renditions of popular bikes and scooters.

The company has not yet released specific information, but the 210cc Hero Karizma, an improved Xtreme 160R, as well as updated versions of the Passion Plus and Glamour models, are slated to make their appearances soon. There are also rumours that the programme will feature a new 125cc scooter.

Rumours of the historic luxury motorcycle brand's return have been stoked by Hero MotoCorp's recent trademark filings for the names Hero Karizma XMR and Karizma XMR 210. The Karizma XMR is predicted to be a semi-faired variant, as opposed to the more powerful, fully-faired Karizma XMR 210.

The final model will have a brand-new base and be powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 20 horsepower and 30 Nm of torque. Additionally, a brand-new 6-speed gearbox is reportedly included with the bike. The Karizma XMR 210 is projected to keep the classic appearance of the original Karizma model while also adopting certain Xtreme 200S design elements.

The next updated Hero Xtreme 160R is now undergoing testing, and it is scheduled to be on sale soon. The inclusion of upside-down forks at the front in place of the current telescopic unit will be one of the new model's most important changes. A little price increase might arise from this adjustment.

But it's predicted that the new Xtreme 160R's design, features, and engine specifications won't change much. The motorcycle's current 163cc air-cooled engine will continue to produce 15 horsepower and 14 Nm of torque.

Hero MotoCorp is also reportedly considering reviving the Hero Passion Plus with a brand-new 100cc single-cylinder engine, according to media sources. Additionally, it is said that The Hero Glamour is a part of the company's product expansion plan. In addition to these models, Hero is also scheduled to release a new 125cc scooter shortly.
