Delhi : The commuter motorcycle Passion Pro has been mysteriously taken down from Hero MotoCorp's website. Dealerships have likewise confirmed that the motorcycle is not available. Right now, it's unknown if the halt will be short or long-term. Those who want to purchase the Passion motorcycle, however, need not fear. The Passion XTEC and the more user-friendly Passion Plus commuters are still available from Hero.

With front disc and drum variations, the Hero Passion Pro retailed for about 85,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). A 113.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 4-speed transmission and a maximum output of 9 horsepower and 9.89 Nm powered the motorbike. The motorcycle was the company's second-best-selling product, behind the Splendor.

The Passion Pro's more feature-rich counterpart is the Hero Passion XTEC. The bike includes a Bluetooth connection with call and SMS alerts, an LED headlamp, and a computerized instrument console. A side-stand cut-off sensor and USB charging are also included with the Passion XTEC. The Passion Pro's 113.2 cc engine is included in this model. It's also worth noting that the Passion XTEC is more reasonably priced starting at ₹80,038 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

However, the recently released Hero Passion Plus fits the role if you need a commuter that is simpler and more basic. A 97.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 4-speed gearbox with a maximum output of 7.91 horsepower and 8.05 Nm powers the motorcycle. Along with a side-stand cut-off sensor, USB charging, and Hero's i3S start/stop technology for improved fuel efficiency, the Passion Plus gets a semi-digital instrument console. At 76,301 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Passion Plus is also less expensive.

Given that the Passion Plus was brought back due to public demand, it is possible that the motorcycle, together with the Passion XTEC, fulfilled a customer's needs better, but the Passion Pro proved to be an expensive prospect. Additionally, the Hero Super Splendor 125, which has a more appealing pricing of 84,428 (ex-showroom, Delhi), overlapped with it.
