Hero's upcoming Glamour 125 spied, launch expected this year
Delhi : Hero MotoCorp has recently been on a launch binge, and given that the upgraded Glamour 125 has been spotted testing for the first time, it appears that the company plans to add another commuter motorcycle to its domestic lineup. We may anticipate the new motorcycle's costs to be revealed in the upcoming weeks after being spotted unmasked in its production avatar.
There used to be a total of six models of the Hero Glamour line, each priced between Rs. 83,000 and Rs. 87,000 (ex-showroom). Expect a slight price increase for the new model, and spy shots suggest that the general style will resemble the previous iteration. The 124.7 cc engine that complies with BSVI stage 2 emission norms is reportedly the primary improvement.
Regarding the appearance, it features a single-piece black-finished seat, a single-piece grab rail, a stylish fuel tank with extensions to add a little sportiness, black-finished alloy wheels at the front and rear, a commuter-styled headlamp, halogen turn indicators, a digital instrument console, a side-mounted black-finished exhaust system with a heat shield, etc.
Rubberized footpegs, a finely completed headlight cowl with Hero branding in the center, and Glamour writing on the sides of the fuel tank are further standout features. It will have a combined braking system (CBS), along with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake for stopping. Telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers in the back will take care of the suspension responsibilities, and the springs will be painted red.
The 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine should deliver the same amounts of power and torque in terms of performance. It is capable of producing 10.72 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. A five-speed transmission is mated with the engine.
The 2023 Hero Glamour 125 dealer deliveries are anticipated to begin soon, and the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer may try to capitalize on the favorable purchasing attitudes that are typically present among customers throughout the holiday season.
