Delhi : Honda upgraded the popular Shine 125 to comply with India's OBD2 regulations. Shine's formal introduction in 2023 is the sole alteration it will experience. It should be mentioned that in order to be allowed for sale, all 2-wheelers produced after March 31, 2023, have to meet the new emission standards. The distinction this time was that the selling of 2-wheelers was not prohibited; rather, their manufacture was.

The 2023 Shine 125, the best-selling 125cc motorbike in India, maintains the tried-and-true design of a straightforward, functional machine. It has a bigger 651 mm seat, a wheelbase that is 1285 mm long, and ground clearance that is 162 mm high.

The updated model's 123.9 cc engine continues to provide 7.9 KW (10.74 PS) of maximum power and 11 Nm of maximum torque. It has a sealed chain, a 5-speed gearbox, a Combi braking system and Honda's ACG starter, which provides a jolt-free start without the use of a traditional starting motor.
