Delhi : The Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) XL750 Transalp has been introduced in India. Priced ex-showroom in Gurgaon at Rs 10,99,990, is the adventurous tourer. Bookings are being accepted at Honda BigWing dealerships for the first 100 units. The CBU route will be used to import the bike.

The 1980s original Transalp served as the model for the XL750 Transalp. The bike has a big windscreen, a stepped seat, and a small LED headlight. It is equipped with a Pro-Link monoshock in the back and a Showa upside-down front fork. Two 310 mm wave discs with two-piston calipers up front and a 256 mm disc at the back are used for braking.

A 755cc parallel-twin engine with 75 Nm and 91 BHP powers the XL750 Transalp. The engine has 46 mm throttle bodies and downdraft intakes. It is claimed that the nickel-silicon carbide coating on the cylinders increases engine efficiency.

The bike has a throttle-by-wire system and a 6-speed transmission. There are five riding modes available to riders: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User. The Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, ABS, assist slipper clutch, 5-inch TFT instrument panel, and Honda Selectable Torque Control are additional amenities.
