Hero Karizma XMR 210: Resurrected Karizma

Over twenty years ago, Hero and Honda launched the first Karizma in India as a joint venture. Since it was the first of its sort in the Indian market at the time, the bike, known as the Hero Honda Karizma, was an immediate success. Before being withdrawn in 2017, it was followed by unworthy successors in the form of Karizma R and Karizma ZMR.

Prior to Karizma's formal release, Hero aggressively launched a marketing campaign on its social media accounts for the previous three weeks. Additionally, the bikemaker just confirmed on Instagram that the next Karizma will have the new 'XMR' suffix. Hero has hinted to the new Karizma XMR 210 in addition to the confirmation.

Hero Karizma XMR 210: Expected design, hardware

It is evident from the most recent teaser and the prior patent leak that the new-gen Karizma features visual cues from traditional faired sports bikes, including a big front fairing, a sizable windshield, a raised floating tail section, and split-style seats. Mirrors for the rear view seem to be attached to the fairing itself.

The raised clip-on handlebar should provide a rather upright and comfortable riding posture, despite the footpegs appearing to be slightly rear-set. Split grab rails, spoked alloy wheels, and a short exhaust muffler are other eye-catching features. Karizma XMR 210 will have all-new underpinnings in addition to a completely new design.

As a first for a Hero two-wheeler, the Karizma XMR 210 will be built on a trellis frame with a box swingarm rather of a conventional diamond frame. The main frame and the rear sub-frame are not clearly separated in the frame, which has a tubular construction and looks to be a single-piece design. On customary telescoping front forks and a movable mono-shock in back, the trellis frame will be supported. Both ends will have disc brakes, with the front unit having a petal-like design, to handle stopping responsibilities.

Hero Karizma XMR 210: Predicted engine specifications and cost

A brand-new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is anticipated to power the Hero Karizma XMR 210. Although this motor's specifications haven't been made public, it is anticipated to have a maximum output of 25 horsepower and 22 Newton meters of torque. A new 6-speed gearbox is anticipated to be used with the new mill.

Hero Karizma XMR 210 is anticipated to cost between Rs. 1.50 lakh and Rs. 1.80 lakh (both ex-showroom) at launch. It will compete against the Suzuki Gixxer SF250, KTM RC200, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, and Pulsar F250.
