Japanese market welcomes 'Made in India' Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 for sale

Delhi : Suzuki introduced the 2023 V-Strom SX 250 earlier this year, and it has already been released in the Japanese market. This Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 was produced in India by Suzuki Motorcycle India, and it has since been sold to the Philippines, Indonesia, and, most recently, Japan. The V-Strom SX 250 is one of numerous motorcycles Suzuki India produces for Asian markets in addition to being shipped to Japan.

Priced at 569,800 Yen (about 3.26 lakh), the 2023 Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 will be on sale in Japan on August 24. Prospective riders will then get the opportunity to try the bikes. The 249 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine in the Japanese-spec V-Strom SX 250 is identical to the one in the Indian model and produces roughly 25 bhp at 9,300 rpm and 22 Nm of peak torque at 7,300 rpm when mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Additionally, the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tires with 10-spoke cast aluminum wheels have been carried over. The bike has telescopic front forks and a monoshock with a 7-step preload adjustment at the back. Dual-channel ABS disc brakes are used on both ends of the bike for braking. The wheels have dual-purpose tires on them. Additionally, the V-Strom SX has a USB charging port and an LCD display. The kerb weight is 164 kg, which is roughly 3 kg lighter than the model built for India.

There are three colors available for the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 in Japanese specification: Champion Yellow Number Two, Pearl Blaze Orange, and Glass Sparkle Black. Along with the quarter-litre adventure tourer, which will be sold directly from the factory, the two-wheeler juggernaut will also provide a wide range of accessories. The top case, accessory bar, fuel tank protector, heated grips, and other items are included in this. Suzuki Motorcycle India also sells the Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, Avenis, Burgman Street 125, and numerous other models to the Japanese market in addition to the V-Strom SX.
