Delhi : The new Vieste 300 XDV scooter for Europe has been revealed by Chinese-owned Hungarian firm Keeway, a subsidiary of the QJ Motor Group. It is based on the Vieste 300 luxury maxi scooter, which is currently available abroad and in India. The Keeway Vieste 300 XDV stands out since it is the first "adventure scooter" produced by the company, giving the line-up additional toughness. Visual and functional changes give the Vieste 300 XDV a more robust appearance than its more road-focused brother.

Style and minimalist look of Vieste 300 XDV

The Vieste 300 serves as the foundation for the Keeway Vieste XDV adventure maxi scooter. The dual LED headlights have been integrated into a large, muscular front apron, which updates the design. The footrests include steel anti-slip plates, a motorcycle-style exposed broad handlebar, and a bigger LCD instrument dashboard.

Space function and added features

The adventure scooter also includes a grab rail at the back with space for mounting baggage and a single-piece stepped saddle. To emphasise the tough appearance, the thick sheathing continues to the side panels.

Transmission capacity of Vieste 300 XDV

The well-known 278 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces power when mated with a CVT automatic transmission. It is adjusted to produce 18.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 22 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The model has twin shock absorbers at the back with a 65 mm travel and KYB USD front forks with 90 mm of travel.

Ground clearance and road connectivity

The scooter is supported by dual-purpose tyres on 13-inch alloy wheels. With J.Juan callipers, the front 240 mm petal disc and the rear 220 mm petal disc provide stopping power. The ground clearance is 160 mm, and the seat height is an easily accessible 800 mm.
