KTM 200 Duke 2023 edition launched at ₹1.96 lakh, features LED headlamp from 390 Duke
Delhi : KTM India has priced the 2023 200 Duke at 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is 3,155 more than the current 200 Duke. The sole difference between the motorbike and the 390 Duke is the new LED headlight. It will be available in two colour options: Electronic Orange and Metallic Silver. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and Suzuki Gixxer 250 will compete with the 2023 200 Duke.
With the new light comes a new set of LED Daytime Running Laps. This light features 32 LEDs and 6 reflectors for the beam. The headlight unit is inspired by the headlamp of the 1290 Super Duke R.
The motorbike is still powered by a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. At 10,000 rpm, it produces 24.68 bhp and 19.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is also OBD2 compatible and can run on E20 gasoline.
KTM shares a split trellis tubular frame with the 250 Duke and 390 Duke. The frame is supported by front 43 mm USD forks and a 10-step adjustable monoshock at the back. WP Apex supplied both suspension components. The brakes are also impressive, with a 300 mm disc in front and a 230 mm disc in back. Bybre callipers are used, and there is dual-channel ABS as well as SuperMoto ABS (single-channel ABS). The motorbike will continue to include an LCD digital instrument cluster with plenty of information, as well as warning lights.
