Delhi : Tata Safari and Harrier facelifts are now being tested. These SUVs have been sighted several times. Both cars might be released around the holidays. The concept SUVs will influence the majority of the design revisions, making them more premium both inside and out. Tata Motors has also patented a number of utilitarian elements, including the touch and toggle climate control panel.

New aluminium alloy wheels will be offered. New 18-inch alloy wheels with slots and a flowing pattern between the spokes will be available with the Tata Safari facelift. These wheels appear to be both attractive and strong. The recently sighted test vehicle had these new alloy wheels, which are identical to those found on the Celtos and come in dual-tone and all-black finishes.

Fuller and more aerodynamic alloy wheels observed in earlier testing modules are expected to be incorporated in the Safari EV as well. The Safari and Harrier facelifts will have a redesigned fascia with vertical headlamps. It will also get a revised bumper, wider LED DRLs, and the new Tata logo on the centre console.

The Safari facelift may get a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine as a powertrain option. Several substantial improvements to the inside are envisaged. Special versions of the new model may be offered, including features such as ADAS, a 360-degree camera, front and rear seat ventilation, leather upholstery, a rear-seat entertainment package, and a panoramic sunroof. The existing 2.0L turbo diesel engine with 168bhp/350 Nm performance will remain available. A new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with 170 bhp/280 Nm of torque will also be released. This new model is likely to cost between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 more.

It will go up against the Mahindra XUV700. The new Safari, like the XUV700, will be available with both diesel and petrol engines.
