Delhi : Honda Activa 6G, the most popular scooter in India, is about to get a few modifications, and we have a copy of the RTO paperwork for it. The document describes a few minor differences between the new model and the scooter's current iterations. And since Honda has already extended us an invitation for this day, this iteration will be released on January 23.

The existence of a new Smart Activa 6G model is the document's most intriguing discovery. Interestingly, Honda's media invitation also uses the word "H-Smart," which supports the notion that the impending car is a new version of the Activa. The Activa 6G is now obviously on track to become "smarter" with new capabilities, as shown by this. While the existence of these features has not yet been confirmed, a source on the internet indicates that there will be anti-theft measures similar to the Honda Ignition Security System (HISS) that the company already employs in some of its larger motorcycles.

One other finding from the leaked paper is that the forthcoming Smart trim's gross vehicle weight (GVW) is one kilogramme (kg) lighter than that of the other variations, at 279kg. In light of the fact that the scooter's weight should have ideally grown due to the new technology, this is noteworthy. The power output listed in the document, at 7.74 horsepower, is just a little bit more than the current Activa 6G models.

The Honda Activa 6G's next variation will cost more than any of its current models, which start at Rs 73,359 (ex-showroom).
