Delhi : The Aerox 155 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition will go on sale in the domestic market, based on today's announcement from Yamaha Motor. The pricing of the exclusive MotoGP Edition in Yamaha MotoGP livery is Rs. 1,48,300 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). A Class D LED headlamp is added to the performance-based scooter, which is said to provide better light dispersion and increased road visibility.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 is powered by a well-known 155 cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology and has a Traction Control System (TCS) as well. A CVT transmission is connected to the drivetrain. The four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve engine has a maximum output of 15 PS at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Yamaha's maxi-sports scooter complies with E20 fuel regulations and is equipped with an onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) system and danger system as standard equipment. The Yamaha Aerox 155 is available for purchase in four additional colorways, including Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion, and Silver, in addition to the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition.

The Monster Energy emblem and phrases are plainly visible on the front fairing and fender of the 2023 Yamaha Aerox Monster Energy MotoGP Edition, as well as on the fly screen and side panels. Below the single-piece stepped-up seat is where the Eneos logo is also visible. A side-mounted exhaust system and alloy wheels with a black finish are further features.

The YZF-R15M, MT-15 V2.0, and Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid received the 2023 Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP Edition last month, and the Aerox 155 has already joined the lineup. Yamaha recently announced the introduction of two new color schemes for the FZ-S FI V4, and in December, the much anticipated R3 and MT-03 will be released in India.

Expect both bikes, which will be imported through the CBU method, to cost more than Rs. 4 lakhs (ex-showroom), which is significantly more than some of their direct rivals. A 321-cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 42 horsepower will power them.
