RIVOT NX100 EV: Redefining electric scooters with a 545 Km range, check price, features
Delhi : A Belagavi-based startup called RIVOT Motors has introduced electric two-wheelers with a 280 km range on a single charge. Upgrading to a charging capacity of 300 km/h is possible for all models.
The founder, Ajit Patil, unveiled the appearances of the three versions on Monday at the Karnataka Trade Promotion organization venue in Whitefield, Bengaluru. According to him, the RIVOT NX100 was created with the goal of transforming Indian transportation in keeping with the Made in India movement.
Exceptional energy efficiency is provided by RIVOT's motor inverter technology, which has a 55–60 km range per kWh. With more than 45 liters of storage capacity, the body is small. The car offers safety measures including face and number locks, fingerprint recognition, and climate-resistant batteries.
"With its numerous innovative features, RIVOT raises the bar for electric scooters in India. All of its manufacturing takes place in Belagavi. Variants of scooters have modular and upgradeable designs. It is the first electric car in the world with a range extender. Customers can upgrade from the 100 km variant to the 300 km model as their needs change. Customers may receive an update on their car and make the necessary payment, he added. Aside from the first charge up, he said that a test ride from Belagavi to Bengaluru had demonstrated that the RIVOT NX100 had covered 545 km on a single charge.
"The vehicle's unique LiMFP battery chemistry, which is specifically designed for Indian weather conditions, assures excellent performance in the country's variable temperatures. To cater to clients seeking off-roading and high-power bikes, they have specific variations. Unlike IPMSM, which only provides high torque at low RPM, and SynRM, which only provides high RPM, the team's innovative motor combines the best of both technologies to provide high torque at both low and high RPM. The power train of the RIVOT NX100 is shielded from all that the Indian roads can throw at it by its enclosed belt drive, he claimed.
Features on the scooters include a tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, tubeless tires with steel rims, reverse gear, onboard charger, and dynamic rider profiling. They also come with add-ons like a phone lock, ComfortBoot, a tough protective cage, and a touch screen with Internet and multi-media navigation.
Price of Rivot NX 100
The various modifications cost between ₹89,000 and ₹1,39,000 in total. The RIVOT NX100 will soon be offered in five different configurations: Offlander, Sports, Premium, Elite, and Classic. The Street Rider version is offered in seven colors: Black, White, Grey, Mineral Green, Pista, Pink, and Purple. It also has three sub-variants: Classic, Premium, and Elite. The Sports model has a dual tone of orange and white, while the Offlander model has an adventurous desert color and off-road styling.
