Delhi : Prepare yourself for a thrilling September 2023 as the two-wheeler industry is getting ready to ramp up the adrenaline factor with a few eagerly awaited releases. The TVS Apache RTR 310, which promises to reinvent performance and style in the sportbike class, is leading the charge. For motorcycle enthusiasts, the 390 Duke, famed for its fierce performance and aggressive appearance, is about to be released by KTM. The River Indie E-Scooter, which promises urban commuters a sustainable and practical ride, is poised to make waves on the electric front with its eco-friendly credentials. Let's explore some of the important specifics of the impending new motorcycles and scooters, which are scheduled to go on sale this month.

TVS APACHE RTR 310 - SEPT 6TH

With teasers and spy photos teasing its impending release, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is causing a lot of interest. A teaser video from TVS has been officially released, and it verifies some important design cues like the significantly lower-set two-piece LED headlamps, the small rear seat, the pointed tail, and the cylindrical exhaust. However, a test model of the motorcycle was sighted with a rear seat that was more conventional in size and an exhaust that resembled the faired Apache RR 310. It is anticipated that the TVS Apache RTR 310 and its faired twin, the Apache RR 310, will share a number of characteristics as well as an engine. A different seating position could make it stand out.

A fully digital instrument console, smartphone connectivity, and TVS's BTO treatment, which includes adjustable handlebars, footpegs, and suspension, are anticipated to be included in the bike's feature set.

NEW KTM 390 Duke -- LATE SEPTEMBER

Another model to look forward to is the 2024 KTM 390 Duke, which is scheduled to debut in late September 2023. The world has already been introduced to this new model. Hardware, features, performance, and rider aids will all undergo considerable modifications on the 2024 390 Duke. It will include capabilities like ride modes and launch control. A 399cc engine will be used in the bike's new model, promising more linear low-end power delivery. It is anticipated to cost roughly Rs 3.30 lakh, which is more than the current model's price of Rs. 2.97 lakh.

RIVER INDIE ELECTRIC SCOOTER – SEPTEMBER

The River Indie electric scooter is getting ready to make its long-awaited debut this month (September 2023), shifting gears once more. The majority of the design components from the pre-production model are anticipated to remain in the final production version of the scooter. A 4kWh battery pack and a 6.7kW electric motor make up the engine, which has a range of about 120km and a top speed of 90kmph. It includes amenities like crash protectors, 14-inch wheels, a 12-liter glovebox, and 43-liter underseat storage space. The initial introduction cost was Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), but it's vital to remember that EV pricing could rise in the coming months as a result of adjustments to the FAME II subsidy.
