Honda Elevate hits the Indian roads: Starting at just Rs. 10.99 lakh
Delhi : The Elevate was just introduced to the domestic market by Honda Cars India, with prices starting at Rs. 10,99,900 for the entry-level model and up to Rs. 15,99,900 for the top-of-the-line model (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda Elevate client deliveries will start at authorized dealerships located throughout the nation today.
The Honda Elevate is offered in four grades, with three two-tone and seven alternative single-tone exterior color schemes. The five-seater, which was created under the Urban Freestyler idea, is in direct opposition to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc.
The midsize SUV has dimensions of 4,312 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height, and 2,650 mm in wheelbase. It features the highest ground clearance (220 mm) and largest bootspace (458 liters) in its segment. Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd., commented on the unveiling, Similar to the fifth-generation City, the Honda Elevate's 1.5L four-cylinder i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine provides power. It is capable of producing a peak torque of 145 Nm and a maximum power output of 121 PS. A seven-speed CVT is an alternative to the powertrain's regular six-speed manual transmission.
The foundation and mechanical components for the Elevate are likewise shared with the City sedan. Its claimed fuel efficiency for MT and CVT is 15.31 km/l and 16.92 km/l, respectively. The SUV meets E20 compatibility and BSVI stage 2 emission standards. It comes with a three-year standard vehicle warranty, but customers can choose an extended warranty that can last up to five years, an anytime warranty that can last up to ten years, and roadside assistance starting from the day of purchase.
Tall pillars, an upright front fascia, crisp LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED taillamps, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with dual-tone finishes are all hallmarks of the Honda Elevate. The list of features includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, a seven-inch HD full-color TFT meter cluster, Honda Sensing Suite, and much more.
