Triumph Scrambler 400X hits Indian roads with exciting pricing of Rs. 2.63 Lakh

Delhi : The Scrambler 400X has finally been released in India by Triumph India. It is the smallest and least expensive scrambler in Triumph's lineup. The Scrambler 400X is priced Rs. 30,000 more than the Speed 400, at Rs. 2,62,996 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Let's talk about further details of Scrambler 400X:

Design and look of Scrambler 400X

The Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X have the same design. It has a very vintage appearance and features like as a grilled circular headlamp, a split seat with ribs, handle guards, and tank grips. The Scrambler 400X's posture is also different because of its capacity for off-road riding. For improved handling, the bike has a little height advantage over its sister. The Scrambler has a little of modern flair mixed in with its classic style. It is fully illuminated by LEDs.

Qualities of Scrambler 400X

Similar to its sibling for the road, the Triumph Scrambler 400X boasts a respectable feature set. The Scrambler 400X is equipped with ride-by-wire, traction control, switchable ABS, a USB charging connector, and a semi-digital instrument dashboard in addition to LED lighting everywhere. An analog speedometer and an LCD are provided for the tripmeters, fuel level, odometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, and other information on the display.

Engine functionality of Scrambler 400X

The Bajaj-Triumph joint venture allows the Scrambler 400X to share its engine with the KTM 390 Duke and the Speed 400. It is a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with a six-speed gearbox that produces 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm. Another feature that helps the Scrambler is a slip-and-assist clutch.

Hardware of Scrambler 400X

Triumph has included somewhat modified hardware on the Scrambler 400X to accommodate its off-road capabilities. It has a monoshock with 150mm of travel on each end and USD front forks. Then, mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, respectively, are a 320mm front and 230mm rear disc as part of the brake gear.
